Welcome to the Kettlestone History Project. In 2014 a team of researchers investigated the life stories of the soldiers whose names are on the Kettlestone war memorial. Information about their lives and their service in WW1 was displayed in an exhibition in November 2014 to commemorate 100 years since the start of the conflict. A second exhibition about the villagers in the first part of the 20th century was staged in 2018 to mark 100 years since the Armistice. This website was set up to preserve the research team's findings.

Research into Kettlestone's recent past is continuing, and sections about the village during and after WW2 are being constructed.
