KETTLESTONE IN THE FIRST PART OF THE 20TH CENTURY

In this section of the website there is information about the soldiers who fought in WW1 and also the lives of the villagers before , during and after that time. Throughout WW1 the Rector of Kettlestone, the Reverend F.A.C. Share, kept notes in the church service record about events in the village, and what was happening at the front. His jottings have been a valuable starting point for much of the research that has been carried out and quotes from his notes can be found on most pages.
